A free online school for entrepreneurs has been launched in Ukraine
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has launched a National Online School for Entrepreneurs on the platform “Diia.Business”, – said Interfax Ukraine.
“Studing will be absolutely free for everyone and always. The first series “10 Steps to Starting Your Own Business” was developed by our partners – USAID’s Competitive Economy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Center for Investment and Trade Promotion”, -said Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Valeriia Ionan during the school’s online presentation.
The purpose of the school is to develop skills in potential and existing entrepreneurs for the successful development of their own business, as well as to assist SMEs in using financial services.
Studing in the online school will take place in the format of educational series, in addition, part of the training will be conducted offline on the basis of support centers for entrepreneurs “Diia.Business”.
According to Zarina Odinaeva, Head of Regional Programs for Digital and Credit Infrastructure Development in Europe and Central Asia, Head of the Financial Inclusion Program in Ukraine (IFC), this course is aimed at helping SMEs build their businesses in a way out of the pandemic with a new impetus. and with the possibility of attracting financing from banks.
“The topics to be covered by this course are focused on liquidity management, cash flow, increasing access to finance, accounting and balance sheets. That is, everything related to the financial health of entrepreneurs, “Odinaeva stressed.
In general, the educational series for SMEs will consist of ten series of ten minutes, which will cover the basic basics of doing business in Ukraine.
